FREE PSYRAP templates, bases etc etc will now be found in this directory, which will have thumbnail links to the originals. This is the journal to go to for those who would rather color linearts than start from scratch. linearts in scraps will be removed gradually and added to this new directory in time. if you have a psyrap lineart you would like to offer for free that others can use/color, THAT journal is the place to comment a link to it.
all psyrap art will now be automatically entered to the club. it is helpful if you submit art to the club but it won't be nessecary as long as you include the word "psyrap" or "psychoraptor" in the keywords of your submission.
official subspecies are no longer allowed (but mutations are). this is because in the yez world there are ALREADY psyrap subspecies (that have not been debuted yet) and some people where making subspecies too similar to ideas i already had. to avoid conflict when i finally do release all official psyrap species in the future, i can no longer allow people to make different versions of them. however you CAN have the following:
-longer fur and smaller ears if they live in cold climates
-shorter fur and larger ears if they live in hotter climates
-smaller and stiffer tendrils if gripleader has been a male for generations
-longer but softer tendrils if gripleader has been a female for generations
-larger bodies if they live in a large open space rich with prey
-smaller bodies if they live in arid or isolated places
-mutations if they inbreed and/or are exposed to chemicals for generations
VERY IMPORTANT CLAN INFO
first of all, clans are now called grips. let's have hyenas keep their group name. also it kinda bothered me that suddenly EVERYBODY started calling their groups "clans" regardless of whether or not they were psyraps (or hyenas).
second of all, GRIPS will be totally revised. having an 'official' grip registered with the club will now take some REAL work from gripleaders! the reason for this is to avoid having loose, dead, on-a-whim, or half-assed grips clogging up the club. now, anybody can have their OWN psyraps and create a personal informal grip for them no problem, and even have friends of theirs join their clans. however to have an official, registered, RECOGNIZED grip, you must achieve all of the following:
-Create a journal with the grips information including name, members, characteristics and optionally history, background, daily life, etc.
-Create artwork or literature about the grip and/it's members.
-Put TIME and EFFORT into the grip and it's maintenance.
-Create a button 150px by 150px AND a banner 500px by 100px and provide link to grip journal
-Use the psyrap refsheet as your guideline.
GRIP INFO
-your grip does NOT have to have continuity with other grips or the yez world.
-your grip can live on ANY planet.
-your gripmembers can have mutations, but provide an explanation or theory.
-your gripleader can be any gender
-gripmembers should breed with NONmembers
-NOT ALL PSYRAPS HAVE TO BE IN A GRIP. as with all groups of animals, there are loners, nomads, the lost, and those looking for a different/new grip.
-grips are always named after the leader, OR shortened offshoots of their name.

I must say your art is beyond words i coud say. Just great. I love the species that you made they're such interesting creatures which is why i'd love making one myself. I hope more linearts come out consdiering i'm not the best artest in digital i'm more suitable on paper and sadly i don't have a scanner ): But anyway keep on drawing
